There is currently an aboriginal festival in Taipei. It is taking place till  the 24th of Nov. in the renewed old military village close to the 101 Tower, nearly in front of the International Trade Center, on the opposite side of Hsinyi Road.
There are the usual booths selling handicrafts and food. If you loved BBQed wild boar meat or rice cooked in the bamboo, that's where you have to go !
